EarthKind represents property owners in creating profit centers with community solar systems on their roofs and underutilized properties, and negotiates 10-15% electricity discounts for business, government and non-proft clients with community solar contracts on properties located elsewhere.

Electric Vehicles (EVs)

EarthKind created Sustainable Westchester’s Clean Transportation Program.

EarthKind Negotiated EV discount programs; quintupled the number of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in municipal fleets; secured incentives for dozens of charging stations; and empowered Westchester residents, businesses, and municipal leaders to purchase EVs and become the #1 county for EV adoption in New York State.

Clean Heating & Cooling

EarthKind wrote $1 Million of successful grant applications that created Sustainable Westchester’s HeatSmart residential and commercial programs.

EarthKind provided technology consultation for the residential programs, and directed the Commercial HeatSmart effort that provides ground and air source heat pump solutions – with cash incentives and financing options – to developers of $10+ Billion of housing and mixed use commercial properties in the county.

Microgrids

EarthKind conceived the strategy and assembled the team that secured $1.1 Million of NY Prize Community Microgrid grant funding. EarthKind has represented customers through Combined Heat and Power (CHP) projects, and brings a team of experienced professionals who have developed clean-energy-powered microgrids for US military bases across the country and globe.
